Troop 67 is proud to support Bernie Ray’s Eagle Scout project. He raised funds to install a bike repair station near Grove 5 in Johnson Park. We hope this benefits the community for years to come.
Our 2024 Spaghetti Dinner was a great success. We served over 300 meals to our friends, family, and community members. Special thanks to Ferraro Foods for their generous support. We also appreciate the donations from Wegman’s, Applebee’s, State Theater, Somerset Patriots, Piscataway Pizza, Shop Rite, Fratelli’s, Yestercades of Metuchen, and China Magic.
Our fundraising activities allow us to keep Scouting affordable for our community.
Thank you to the Piscataway Police Department for joining the troop and showing us some of their traffic safety devices! Officers showed us the departments radar guns and other tools to help keep the streets safe for people all around. The scouts even got to use the radar guns and track some cars coming down the road. The troop learned some traffic safety tips and what the township is doing to try to decrease accidents within our town.
The 2023 Troop 67 scout year is already off to a great start! This year we have already gone on a camping trip to the Citta Scout Reservation. This year, we plan to work on more rank advancement for younger scouts. We have already seen development in scouts’ skills and requirements for this year. Welcome back to Troop 67!
A few scouts (and parents) braved the rainy weather for a bike hike down the D&R Canal Trail this morning.
